I haven&#039;t heard the &quot;writing is magic&quot; saying before, but I totally agree. I find it especially fascinating when I easily solve a problem simply by writing down the problem statement and then the first few possible solutions I can think of. 

I could spend days thinking of such a problem and getting nowhere, but as soon as I write it down - it really is magic! - the problem doesn&#039;t seem to be so complex anymore.

		<description>I liked how you reframed goals as outcomes.  It makes a world of difference.  You are right in the sense that goals have a connotation of being too far out there.  When it&#039;s viewed as an outcome, you don&#039;t necessarily stress because you know it&#039;s going to happen.
