Yes, I agree about the physical side of development - and it really does make sense to have all your personal development balanced properly.

Thanks for stopping by!

pS: I see you've created an English category on your blog, great stuff! Just what I was thinking of. Hope it'll get more entires soon!

It was mention that we can grow mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Just want to add, that there is the forth side of personal development - physical. So in order to be balanced we improve four entities: body, mind, heart and spirit.

And it is a good idea to start from body, if you are a beginner in personal development.

I'll be back! I've got you in my RSS reader now. I just found out about the Personal Development Carnival a few weeks ago. It's led me to several good sites, including yours.

I haven't studied Eastern philosophy as well as I would like, especially Buddhism. Yoga philosophy is more attractive to me. And it I've found very useful.

Hi Rick,

I totally agree with you. I've yet to learn anything about Eastern philosophy (which I understand you've studied thoroughly in the past), but I am not surprised at all that such simple principles as improving through trying and doing something are universal.

Hope to see you on my pages again!

Hi Gleb!

You've made a good point - the only failure is not trying. Personal development is like Buddhism, more process than reaching a point of having achieved. Yes, we do need to achieve some of our goals, but the act of trying does more for our growth than actually reaching them.
