Hi Dawit,

Depends how you look at it, but yes, success can be a process - you can thrive on it and get even more successful.

And yes, even thinking of your personal goals means making some progress in the right direction.

Good luck!

A nice one! Does it mean that sucess is also a process? Some times I get frustrated thinking that I am not an achiver on some of my personla goals. This one reminds me that I might be some where towards my goal.

Thanks a lot!

Hi Joyce,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. I haven't read this book yet, but I already have it - so I will get to reading it soon enough.

I agree with what you're saying, and think it's just a better way of explaining my first two rules - if your goal is valuable to you, and you feel it's an absolute must, than it means you've got the desire you need to succeed.

Thanks! Hope to see you again

[...] Gleb Reys presents 3 Golden Rules of Goal Setting posted at Personal Development Ideas Blog. I strongly agree on his statement on ‘Make sure your goal is an absolute necessity’. I had set a lot of goals previously. But many of them are not coming true. Now that when I think back I realize that those goals are not really necessary for me to achive. This is a very important rules. You must make sure that the goal is really what you want.
Hey,

I would like to add on to this post. I remember reading from this book named 'Think and grow rich
'. It mentions that the main reason why many fails to reach their goal even after they set their goals is the emontional element is missing. It means to embace the entire heart and soul into doing what you want to do. You eat, sleep and think about it every moment. With that, one would have the desire to suceed.

Personal Growth Carnival October 24th...

I really like the titles of the posts this week. We're not doing categories this week but the posts are broken up into groups for easier reading. I'm going to go back to categories next week. They just work better. Enjoy the articles.
