Follow comments up with email notifications
October 5, 2006 by Gleb Reys
Welcome back!
I’ve just activated a plugin which allows you to subscribe to any post comments using your email. This should make it much easier for you to track those posts and comments you’re particularly interested in.
From now on, you should see a tick box under just under the new comment tex area, which reads like this:
Notify me of followup comments via e-mail
Just make sure your email in the appropriate field is spelled correctly, and tick the box – that’s all you need to receive any further comments everyone else will make to a post.
I’m working on the new design for this site, so if you have any suggestions – please let me know and I’ll do everything to make your experience with my blog easy and pleasant. Thanks!

Yay, Gleb! This is one of my favorite plugins. Thanks for installing it.
So I thought, Rick!
THANK YOU for suggesting it, I’m still learning about new plugins every day, and the ones someone else has tried and found useful – they’re always the best. I can already see it will add value!
And it all will look and feel even better once I’m finished with my new design, too!
Talk to you later!
This is an awesome little plugin! I think I will be installing something similar myself. Difficulty in following comments is definitely a downside to the nature of blogs.
Take care,
Andrew
Love your site. I have 2, the one listed above and http://jackbauerdeclassified.typepad.com/plus_ultra/ . I’d be very interested in a cross-link. Please reach me at colinsu@msn.com. The newest of my 2 blogs is directed at improving readership and driving linked relationships. I love to hear your ideas. Again, great work. Best, Colin Sullivan
Having previously concentrated more on writing content for my own blog rather than interacting with others via comments, I didn’t see the problem at first. But now that I’ve shifted the focus, I find it to be one of the most important features for a blog to have too.
Thanks for the comment, Andrew! See you around!
Hi Colin!
Thanks for leaving pointers to your sites, I’ll be sure to look into them more thoroughly soon enough.
I think you’ve got a great idea with your Plus Ultra project!
Thanks,
Gleb
