The BlogRush Dashboard is still under construction so I have no means of measuring my small traffic statistically speaking… but there are readers who clicked and visited my site via blogrush so I know it’s working. :-)

Hi Gleb, I installed BlogRush even before your post, but I haven’t really paid attention to it. I looked at its dashboard once or twice then forgot about it. Wanted to make an entry about this but I realized it would be better to just put a small info about it on the sidebar, then put a link to my own code so I can make referrals as well and drive a little spike to my small traffic. :P

It must be something to do with the category. And as always, personal development or self-growth wasn’t anywhere in the offered list, so I’ve opted for the Lifestyle one.

Surprisingly enough, it works out quite well and I’m already seeing some familiar blogs and names there. We’ll see what happens next! ;)

I found it rather spammy and was embarrassed at most of the blogs which showed up on my widget, even though I only had it on a back page. I removed it. Maybe when they iron the bugs out and the categories are a little true to form. For a business blogger it may work out better but for some of the other categories it was rather a nightmare.

I’ve seen this around a lot, but I’ve also heard a lot of concern that this mostly just gives you links to splogs (blogs that are chock-full of ads and little else). I’m still leery, how is really working for you?

Thanks for leaving the comment! I think it’s only a matter of (very short) time before widget design can be fully customized by the owner of a blog.

Like I said, it’s best to get started now, and we’ll always have the chance to jump off the train in case we don’t like it :)

Looks cool! I just signed up (using your code) and have it up on my blog. I’ve been looking for some ways to drive more traffic to my blog and this seems like a good method, although I don’t love the widget design.
