Ricardo,
thanks for this very good article. I would certainly adopt the 15 minutes rule in my everyday tasks.

Excellent article on overcoming procrastination. The Clarity Rule is fabulous. If we just had focus and clarity in every area of our life, we wouldn't need tools.

Thank you for a wonderful comment. It's a certain kind of pleasure to take something off the list and forget about it or put it into a different processing queue - like I said, no point having something in your to-do list when you can't act on it.

Nice one! That is so true about needing to understand the task before adding it to your list. I'm going through my to-do list and removing unnecessary things.

Thanks for your comment, Ricardo!

I've learned all 3 of these rules the hard way (if you can say hard about procrastination - after all, not doing anything isn't this hard!).

Glad you see the connection!

Hello,

Thanks for this instructive post.

Perhaps, what connects with me is the Clarity rule. I know that when I have no idea or a vague impression of what a task is all about, I don't really give it the same attention as those tasks which I have knowledge about. Guess I have more confidence tackling things I know about.

The 15 minute rule is a a good one for me to help solve my lack of knowledge in some tasks. Maybe the 15 minute I could allot to gathering some info about that could stir up interest -- you know, something about the joy of discovery.

Anyway, just wrote to say I appreciated your post.

Cheers!
Ricardo
