Welcome back!
I’ve just activated a plugin which allows you to subscribe to any post comments using your email. This should make it much easier for you to track those posts and comments you’re particularly interested in.
From now on, you should see a tick box under just under the new comment tex area, which reads like this:
Notify me of followup comments via e-mail
Just make sure your email in the appropriate field is spelled correctly, and tick the box – that’s all you need to receive any further comments everyone else will make to a post.
I’m working on the new design for this site, so if you have any suggestions – please let me know and I’ll do everything to make your experience with my blog easy and pleasant. Thanks!
Books on Personal Development Store
September 20, 2006 by Gleb Reys · 4 Comments
As some of you have already noticed, I’ve added another section to my website: a Books on Personal Development bookstore.
Believe it or not, it was easier for me to set this aStore (Amazon.com) page than to spend time trying to design a similar book description page of my own. More changes will follow in the next few weeks, like a list of the books I’m currently reading.
This is obviously just the beginning. As of right now, you can see (and buy) only 4 books I have listed there, and I’ve given a very short recommendation to every book. So far I offer you only the books I have personally read and liked so much that I want to recommend them for your reading.
I will be working on further improvements to this section, as I feel really limited by aStore’s allowance for a book description text. I haven’t decided yet, how exactly I will share my full reviews on the books I suggest for your reading, but as always, you will be the first to know as soon as something is formed :)
Let me know what you think, and please feel free to share your recommendations for other books to read. Thanks in advance!
In the spirit of constant improvement

In the spirit of constant improvement, I’ve started cleaning up the earliest posts of mine. During the past few months I’ve learned a bit about writing and presenting articles, and so practically every old article had gone through a set of cosmetic changes.
I will be refreshing all the old articles as they badly need better formatting, and will keep you posted about my progress.
If you’ve been reading this blog since the very beginning – I would like to thank you and suggest you do open the articles and glance through them quickly – it will help you refresh your mind and also memorize some of the important points.
If you’re a reader who discovered this blog just recently, I would like to welcome you and offer these articles as the best way to learn how I got started with my personal development and what thoughts I had half a year ago:
Get Email Updates from this Personal Development Blog
July 21, 2006 by Gleb Reys · Leave a Comment
For those of you who are more comfortable with reading emails than subscribing to RSS feeds, I’ve just created a way for you to subscribe to my regular email updates.
You should find the subscribe form on the side panel of every page of my blog, and it will only take few seconds for you to activate your subscription. The registration form is also found on my Email Updates page, if you prefer.
As of right now, email updates will be just exactly what it says – regular updates delivering the latest articles on personal development straight to your inbox. If I see a lot of interest in email service, I may also create a weekly or monthly feature which will have additional information never posted on this blog.
Let me know what you think, I’m open to any suggestions, as always!
Improving This Blog’s Feed
July 8, 2006 by Gleb Reys · Leave a Comment
Since I’ve enabled full-text feeds, I’ve seen that almost every subscriber of Personal Development Ideas feed now reads me through a news reader and rarely makes it to the actual website.
While this was the idea – make things easier for you, I’ve just noticed a few days ago that because of this all the feed readers miss out on the related articles section of posts. That’s why I’ve been working on bringing such functionality into feeds as well.
Let me know what you think.
