It’s been a week since I started the What Is Personal Development group writing project, and I think it’s time to share with you the first posts I got so far.
Please be sure to contact me when your post is up: trackbacks don’t always work and sometimes your emails are the only way for me to know and be able to share your thoughts with others.
Thank you for submitting your entries. I knew the topic was vast, but the submissions so far proved it to be even more overwhelming than I expected. Have a look for yourself:
- What Personal Development Is To Me by Rick from Shards of Consciousness
- Personal Development: An Inspired Journey Along A Road Less Travelled by Simone from Outfit Inspirations
- What Is Personal Development by Tejvan from the Sri Chinmoy: Inspiration blog
I would like you all to have enough time to think about personal development and submit your entry, and so I’m thinking of leaving this writing project open for a few weeks. The deadline for submitting your entries is October 31st, 2007. This means that I’ll keep posting all the submissions every Friday until the end of this month.
I know some of my friends will definitely been writing their thoughts on personal development pretty soon: Ed Mills, Lorraine Cohen and Mark McManus. The more people participate, the better definition for the personal development we will end up with.
Thanks for your help and attention so far, and hope to see more of your submissions soon!
Hi Gleb,
Thanks for listing me. Rick and Tejvan are inspired reads. Looking forward to all of the future submissions so I can discover and explore even more viewpoints on personal development. A great resource in the making!
There is some fantastic writing here, Gleb. Thank you for putting it together.
Thanks, Rick!
Thanks for participating, Simone!

Thanks for the mention Gleb and I’ll be sure to contribute to this mass definition of ‘Personal Development’
Personal development is a life long continous journey. It cannot stop unless you want to excel. That is why it is encouraging to read on paragraph or two on motivational thoughts
