Written in 2004, 50 Success Classics is a truly great collection of commentaries written by a passionate scholar and a personal development expert on some of the best books found in success literature.

Tom Butler-Bowdon got started with reading books on self-help and success very similarly to the way most of us did: a bit sceptical at first, he quickly grew thrilled and fascinated with the possibilities opened by some books. He ultimately extracted so many useful ideas to promote self-growth that it only made sense to share the newly found wisdom with others.

New Habits I’m Working On

It’s been a while since I’ve shared with you my habits, so this Friday evening seems like a perfect chance to shed some light on what’s currently in the works:

 

1) Early mornings – 4:30am
This is the latest habit which I’m still working on, and it’s going surprisingly well. Perhaps, my previous habit of 5:30am helped, plus I’m concentrating on early mornings more now, and when there’s a focus, there’s an improvement too!

I plan to write a big article on becoming an early rise. It’s been done before, and there are quite a few really good guides around (I really like the Become an Early Riser one at ZenHabits), but there’s always going to be a new angle to look at why people want to rise early and how they manage to do it on a consistent basis.

How To Be Happy

Being a very happy man, I’ve been thinking of writing such a series of posts for quite some time. I just feel like I own this to others. Being happy is so easy, yet many people seem to need someone to walk into their lives and show them the way, stop them and point out something which can be the happiest thing they’ve seen in their lives so far.

Looking at people around me and seeing the reasons for their unhappiness, I’ve decided to share the very same happiness principles I use myself. All I ask of you is to make a decision and commit to reading every single post which will follow (11 planned so far). Make a promise to yourself that you will read each post and take at least one action based on what you learn. Even 11 simple steps towards your well being will make a great difference in the long run.

Remember: a simple change now can make all the difference for you tomorrow. It’s never too late to change something little today in order to make yourself happier tomorrow. Being happy is your choice.
